Mini Countryman vs. Audi Q3 ? Help me choose my new car
So I need some advice on which car to get. I‘m currently driving an old porsche 996 4S that’s fun but I suck at parking and I want apple carplay for everyday usage. I‘m debating on a Mini Countryman SE All4 (so EV) vs. the new Audi Q3 SUV e-hybrid. The Countryman (fully equipped) would cost me about 60‘000€ and the Audi Q3 with tech pro package and other nice features would be around 70‘500€ since I can profit from a special deal.
Which car would be the better choice?
I’ve heard that the driving experience in the Hybrid isn’t too smooth. Also the Q3 is FWD, which I don‘t love. We rarely get snow anymore, maybe 5x per year and it clears up quickly. But it does rain a lot and gets very windy. My main concern for the new car is top notch safety, so Audi is performing a bit better with its assistance features. Comfort, noise reduction and space are also important. Want to switch to EV because of the petrol prices and tax benefits, since we have multiple cars.
I need the car for commuting 3x per week (mostly highway, 86km back and forth) and to run some errands). We have other petrol powered cars to drive long distances and with more space.
