Anyone here work in tech at the Florida Executive Office of the Governor? What’s it like?

Hey everyone,

I applied for a tech position at the Florida Executive Office of the Governor (EOG) about a month ago and haven’t heard anything back yet, but based on my experience I feel like I have a solid shot at getting a call.

Before anything potentially moves forward, I wanted to see if anyone here has worked there or knows what the environment is like, especially on the tech side.

I currently work in IT at another state agency, and it’s honestly been pretty mentally taxing. We’re often overworked and understaffed, so I’m trying to get a better idea of what I might be walking into.

For anyone familiar with EOG:

  • How’s the workload?
  • Is the environment more supportive or stressful?
  • Work-life balance?
  • Anything you wish you knew before working there?

I’d really appreciate any insight, good or bad. Thanks!
