Overworked or lazy?

I Need To Vent :Anger:

I’m a relatively junior attorney trying to get a sense of what’s typical in this work. I recently hit the one-year mark at a small to midsize ID firm. Over a three week stretch I’ve had six summary judgment motions due, some with only a week notice. I’ve been working nights and weekends to keep up.

Is that kind of workload fairly standard? For context, I’m handling around 30 active matters along with court appearances, depositions and other non dispositive motions. I feel like I can’t keep up.

Also curious how frequently others are expected to draft dispositive motions.
