Why do I always seem to get picked on?

I’ve wondered about this for a long time. I’d describe myself as friendly and easygoing, but people still try to pick on me. It’s not that I can’t defend myself or that I’m easy to bully. But I keep wondering: is this something about me, or is this just part of what life is about- dealing people in general?
