Moved to Dubai for my Masters. A war started 2 months later.
I moved to Dubai in January 2025 with one goal finish my Masters in Business Analytics at Heriot-Watt University and build a career I’m proud of.
Two months later, on February 28th, a war broke out.
Everything changed overnight. Campus life stopped. Opportunities dried up. The job market went almost entirely remote or on hold. I had no choice but to fly back to India.
I’m not writing this for sympathy. I’m writing this because I’m flying back to Dubai on April 8th, and I refuse to go back without a plan.
Here’s what I bring to the table:
∙ I think in business. Naturally. I’m constantly looking at how a business can grow, cut waste, or move faster.
∙ I’m studying Business Analytics but what excites me isn’t the theory, it’s the real application.
∙ I don’t need a fancy title. I want to work with a founder, a small team, or a growing business where I can actually make a difference.
∙ I’m hungry. Not entitled. There’s a difference.
I’m not asking for a six-figure salary or a corner office. I just want a real shot to contribute, learn, and prove what I can do.
If you’re a founder, a business owner, or know someone building something I’d genuinely love to connect. Even a conversation could change everything right now.
