I found out me (18M) and my boyfriend (19M) are less compatible than I first thought

TLDR: Neither me or my boyfriend are comfortable being dominant, I want to bring it up, but I'm worried we'll both people please and push our own boundaries of what we're okay with.

In the early part my of relationship (2 weeks in, but I've known him for 4 years prior to us dating), and just found out my boyfriend and I are less compatible than I originally thought.

I don't really know where to post this, but relationship advice seemed like the best place (^~^;)ゞ but the other day, I discovered that he's almost too similar to me in the fact neither of us have especially dominant personalities in the bedroom.

I would like to say, that I've been told this before by him, but something in me hoped it'd be different for us (very aware how selfish that sounds of me, and I'm trying to work on it). He's told me how uncomfortable it makes him to top, and I'm all for respecting boundaries, so I'm worried to bring it up. But, it also makes me uncomfortable to top, so eventually we'll come to a standstill and I don't want to have us come to end over something like bedroom ordeals.

The part I'm most worried about though, is that we're both hardcore people pleasers, so if I do bring it up, I'm scared that he might try to push his boundaries past what he's told he's okay with. And vice versa, I also don't want to go past where I'm comfortable, but I think that we'll eventually need a compromise. Any thoughts/advice?
