IELTS results being withheld

I took my general IELTS test on March 21st. When it was time to release the result, they sent an email saying the results need further investigation and so has been withheld.

I have seen this happening frequently now in reddit. But the replies are from people having the same issue.

So, I wanted to know if anyone had this problem and how long did they had to wait or were the results cancelled for good?
