Still undiagnosed(N1 symptoms for a loooooong time), and now my 19-year old son has developed all the same symptoms

Hi, all fellow sloths!

I’ve been unable to even consider full-time working for 15 years or so. EDS + cataplexy. The latter is under control(venlafaxine).

My son just got his first full-body cataplexy event and has been sleeping ~15 hours a day. Dropped out of school and such. Got a referral to neurology.

My next Dr. appointment is tomorrow, and I’m desperate for answers.

Ideas?
