A&P 2 lab final

I wanted to get some advice. A&P 2 is coming to an end and have my final April 29 im not doing very well in Lab and doing decent in lecture. Lab is 40% of my overall lecture grade so I really need to pass my final. I don't know where to start. Here is the study guide i was given.

Endocrine System

• Know the endocrine system organs/tissues along with their key hormones and their specific functions

• Be able to identify specific endocrine tissues in histologic representations

Blood

• Know the components of whole blood

• Be able to identify the different types of leukocytes and know their functions/roles

• Understand the ABO blood system, be able to identify blood types and determine blood compatibility

Cardiovascular System

• Be able to identify layers of cardiac tissue and their key features in histologic photomicrographs

• Know the structures (chambers, blood vessels, special features) of the heart

• Be able to identify and describe the components of an electrocardiogram

• Understand the cardiac cycle and its electrical and valve activities

• Be able to identify the names of arteries and veins identified in lab

Lymphatic System

• Be able to identify the major components and organs of the lymphatic system and their functions/roles

Respiratory System

• Be able to identify key components of the respiratory system and know their basic functions

• Understand the mechanics and the specific structures involved in the process of ventilation

• Know the respiratory volumes and capacities associated with spirometry

Digestive System

• Be able to identify key structures associated with the gastrointestinal tract, including histologic

photomicrographs. Be able to explain their basic functions

• Know the major enzymes associated with digestion of nutrients

Urinary System

• Be able to identify anatomically the major organs of the urinary system

• Know the basic functions of the urinary organs

• Know the components of a renal nephron and the functions/roles for each of them

• Know the basic characteristics of urine

• Understand the process of micturition

Reproductive System

• Be able to identify the structures of the male reproductive system and know their basic functions

• Be able to identify the structures of the female reproductive system and know their basic functions
