i wished the game is considerate of the mc’s(players) choice of LI’s
So I’m replaying the recent volume of catching feelings. A thought popped in my mind, specifically the dialogue of Aline saying we’ll have to pick between og and bestie soon. I thought to myself as I read it, “I have made a decision. I want to stick with Oscar. Even if I enjoyed the attention from Owen and the others. I wished the islanders aka fusebox are considering our choices and feelings of the LI we’re consistently pursuing.”
The wlw players got the short end of the stick as usual, that we all can acknowledge. At least s4 lets players couple up with a girl early on instead at the final recoupling as the other seasons kept on doing for so long now.
I’ve noticed that this is a pattern fusebox keeps on doing for many seasons now. It’s really annoying when islanders assume that this LI or whoever is your person, especially when some players made it clear they have no interest in that character. And fusebox keeps on dismissing the player’s choices and mc has little to no say of remaining friends or create boundaries for the sake of the plot.
I’m romancing Oscar currently and I wished there is a way for that route to close in on the others. Romance Club and other interactive games do pretty well on that. This issue I like fusebox to fix for future reference for the game to be more enjoyable.
That’s it. Thank you for my TED talk.
