Who Should I Pull?

Hi, for context I am a new player who started recently. The only limited characters I have is Skirk and Escoffier. I'm the type of player who loves planning teams ahead even if I'm not even close to being near the end game modes like the Abyss.

So I'm not going to say I don't have a budget for pulling characters but I'm willing to pull characters who I think is worth investing in or who I think looks cool (for instance Kinich!). I know the Nod Krai storyline is about to end so it wouldn't make sense for me to pull Nefer, Zibai, and Flins together with all of their supports Lauma, Linnea and Ineffa as they will likely not be meta in the next storyline. I was wondering if any of ya'll have any suggestions of which characters (upcoming characters or potential characters that will rerun) should I pull that wouldn't be a "waste" and has value even in the 7.x patches?
