Why KalqiX chose Avail for data availability, and what it means for ZK CLOB DEX infrastructure at scale.

A question that comes up a lot: KalqiX matches orders at sub-10ms and settles every trade via zero-knowledge proofs. That part is well understood. But what happens to all that transaction data as the system scales across chains? Who keeps it available, verifiable, and accessible?

Most DEX teams don't talk about this until it becomes a bottleneck. We built for it from the start.

The data availability problem in orderbook DEXs

Execution speed gets all the attention in the CLOB vs AMM debate, and rightfully so. But scaling a high-performance ZK CLOB across multiple ecosystems introduces a second challenge that is easy to overlook: transaction data needs to stay available and verifiable as demand grows, without liquidity fragmenting across every new deployment.

Expand to a new chain with isolated infrastructure each time, and you end up with fragmented liquidity, inconsistent UX, and a system that gets harder to maintain at every step. That is not how you build DEX infrastructure that lasts.

Where Avail fits into the KalqiX stack

KalqiX uses Avail as a modular data availability layer. Every trade that gets matched off-chain and settled via ZK proof has its transaction data published to Avail DA. This means:

Transaction data stays available and verifiable independently of the execution layer

Cross-chain expansion does not require a full infrastructure rebuild each time

Liquidity stays unified across deployments instead of fragmenting per chain

Decentralization is maintained at the data layer, not just the settlement layer

Avail's Nexus product enables cross-chain deployments across 10+ ecosystems including Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Polygon. For KalqiX's white-label DEX model, where any protocol team can launch a branded exchange on the shared engine, this is critical. Every new DEX that goes live on KalqiX adds to shared liquidity depth. Avail makes sure that depth stays accessible and verifiable regardless of which chain a user is on.

Why this matters for the white-label DEX model

KalqiX's core thesis is that any protocol team should be able to launch a fully branded decentralized exchange on shared ZK infrastructure, without building from scratch. That only works at scale if the underlying data layer does not become a bottleneck every time a new partner goes live or a new chain gets added. A modular DA layer that separates data availability from execution is what makes non-custodial, MEV-protected, multi-chain trading viable without the usual tradeoffs.

No public mempool. No front-running. No MEV. ZK-proven execution at CEX-grade speed with full self-custody.

Testnet proof of concept

6,000+ active users

45M+ transactions processed

$30B+ in total volume

5 independent DEX brands live on the shared engine

0 MEV events across the entire testnet run

Happy to go deeper on the Avail integration or the broader ZK CLOB architecture in the comments.
