Has anyone suffered from raynaud's phenomenon and continued with stimulants, even after the doctor suggested against it? (More information inside)

ADHD Medication

I tried pretty much every stimulant but ended up developing Raynaud's phenomenon in my toes. To be fair, that was largely my own fault, I went to my kid's football game in shorts and thin socks on one of the coldest days of the year. My psychiatrist didn't warn me about cold exposure being a trigger, which was frustrating.

My feet got severely cold and I ended up with chilblains and Raynaud's. My GP then warned me off Concerta XL entirely, despite the fact I was seeing amazing results on it. He said it could become life-threatening even at a lower dose, though personally I'm sceptical of that, given I've been taking Citalopram 20mg for many months without any issues.

He mentioned the concern was around blood flow and circulation, something to do with clotting risk. I now wear heated sock warmers and thick socks to manage it. I understand it's important to listen to the doctors but another doctor said if I took a loser dose I'd be okay
