Unprofessional Recruiter

Got asked for my interview availability on Tuesday, replied 10 mins later with my availability for the week. No response from the recruiter at all, sent a follow-up email and again no response and Friday, the portal says I’m rejected. Is it that hard to say ‘we went with someone else’ despite not giving me the chance to prove myself? This is a major med device company by the way.
