Eventually looking for Eeveelutions...

Help/Question

Hi everyone :) First time posting in this sub please correct me if I mess anything up.

I'm somewhat new to the pokemon collection world. I luckily started collecting about 3-4 years ago before it was near impossible to find anything.

I recently got a pack from my sister's of cards they wanted to gift me-- which drew me right back into the hobby with full force because this time I'm learning more about Pokemon and which ones I like and am hoping for.

Generally I just want to open packs and I'm happy with everything I get. I learn about new pokemon, and see new art...

but I picked the hobby back up at the worst time because as so many of you know finding packs, tins, boxes... is impossible. Sometimes even the figures are man handled in the store because people think they'll get a mini pack in the figure pack... WILD BEHAVIOR BY THE WAY.

Anyway ... I try to see the upside in everything so now I'm just on this continuous and exciting pokemon hunt. Really feels like you gotta CATCH them quickly before they fly off the shelf 😭.

In my excitement I was browsing the Pokedex and fell absolutely IN LOVE with Espeon. I mean, come on guys she is GORGEOUS. So much diva wrapped in an Eeveelution, I love her. This lead me down the rabbit hole of Eeveelutions and turns out my best friend is also a huge Umbreon fan. My wife is practically Sylveon. I'm really loving Eevee and I did not think I'd find myself here, but here I am.

All of this is to say I am patient. I will hold out and ride this wave of empty shelves for as long as I have to.

When I am able to find a pack- WHAT should I be looking for? I'd be satisfied with ANY chance at Eevee and Eeveelutions. I don't care about monetary card value, or rarity. While of course the rare cards are fun and cool and I'd be excited to pull one-- I'd be just as excited to pull a basic "valueless" Espeon or Sylveon or Umbreon because they are so valuable to me now.

I prefer not to get re-packed, unofficial packs because my collection is rather organized with TCG codes still intact and I just like it that way... but of course I have a section with traded and second handed cards as well so I'll assume all advice is helpful.

Thanks :)

TL;DR: I know there aren't many Pokemon packs available-- but when they are available, what should I look for as someone who is newly interested in Eeveelutions?
