Anybody else switching from pills to injections notice this?

I'm tagging as NSFW, because it involves sex drive.

I recently switched from estradiol sublingual and spiro to estradiol subcutaneous injections, on my second week since starting the switch. I noticed that while my libido spiked intensely, it's not as bad as some of the times that I've been financially forced off my HRT, in which if I wait a minute, it typically goes away. When I was on pills for HRT, my libido finally hit a level I was comfortable with, due to things I'd rather not get into, I don't like having a high sex drive and am kinda sick of it in the first place.

While it's great that it At Least goes away after a minute, does it ever mellow out to not happening in the first place or at least hardly ever? Is that something others have experienced and can speak on?
