Yet again I see the VicPD use their lights and sirens to get by a red light then turn them off and continue on their merry way.

Johnson and Blanshard a few minutes ago, roughly 6:15am. Unmarked black SUV.

Light would’ve “inconvienced“ them. (Ie. They were almost at it and were speeding already.) Almost ran me over (pedestrian). Instead they hit their siren and lights *as* they are running the red light. Not before, literally as.

Then they turn them off after, slow down, and continue on clearly not in an emergency.

Entitled pricks.

Not the first time I have seen this behaviour. But yes, let’s throw more money at them to continue to do nothing but act like jerks to the honest populace…

A reminder, it’s okay to speed and run a red if you’re them. Be careful out there.
