Rover or Home?

Advice

Hi all.

I'm back with my anxious pet mom thoughts and worries. I'm going out of town for the weekend, and am unable to have any friends/family check up on my 6m cat due to my property manager not allowing me to share access to the building. Usually, I would have my mom watch him but that's no longer an option.

I have something set with someone from Rover, who seems nice and is stated to have been a pet-sitter for a while.. but I just feel so bad leaving him with a stranger.

I'm wondering if he would be better off at home in his environment alone for 3 days or if it would be best to have him in an unfamiliar environment but with human contact?

Any advice is appreciated 🫩😔
