Am I overthinking?

I am in the first stages of a relationship with my Dom and so far he's doing everything I want. aive always liked being told what to do. I like being good for my partner. He checks in constantly and asks me if Im okay but when he tells me to do something I have to make a conscious decision to force myself to listen. Its like he says things the right way but the tone is off and I don't want to listen to him. Am I overthinking everything or doing something wrong?
