Can Pompholyx (dyshidrotic eczema) be asymmetric? Have it on dorsum of one hand and only thumb on the other. Never diagnosed, but it is spreading down my wrist now. How to treat?

As per title. Started with a small patch on right hand last year but now it is the entire dorsum of the hand and spreading down to my wrist. My other hand has it all over my thumb exclusively. First thought it was ring worm because it was a circular patch.

Blisters come and go. The moments I am stressed it starts to blister. I also notice it becoming inflamed when drinking alcohol or when sweating.

I tried hydrocortisone but it didn’t touch it.
