Stage Dungeon renewal: should I rush old Normals or stick to current event stuff?

I play pretty casually on NA. Usually I log in after dinner while I'm meal prepping and only have about 30 to 45 minutes a day to spare. The Stage Dungeon renewal is coming and I need to plan, but I have not been great about clearing old content. My Normal dungeons are only partially done and I still have a stack of Technicals waiting.

Everyone keeps saying to clear all the Normals before the renewal for the stones and other rewards, but with my limited time I'm not sure that is the best use of it.

My strongest leads right now are a Re:Zero team focused on Reinhard and an older rainbow team. I do not have every meta assist, so I can clear most mid level stuff but I am not consistent on the harder title-level dungeons.

Questions:

1. If I can only prioritize one thing, are Normals the highest value to rush before the renewal, or do Technicals matter just as much?

2. Is there any reason to hold off on clearing certain floors until after the renewal, like getting better first-time rewards, or is it strictly better to clear everything now?

3. Any tips to make Normal dungeon clears faster and less brain-intensive with modern teams? I tend to overthink old content and that slows me down.

Would love opinions from people who have been through previous renewals. I do not want to waste stamina or time and then regret it when the reset hits.
