My first time using blender. I'm trying to make a cat (somewhat close to a real cat), and well... I realised that I don't know how :/

I'm a beginner, so I have no idea where anything is. I only figured out what:
All icons on the left do (below the word 'orientation')
how to use the X, -X, Y, -Y, Z, -Z thing
How to add a mash object
How to delete

Please help
