CA Articles in Mumbai: How are you even finding the energy to write mock exams?

When I was preparing for my CA finals, I realized a depressing truth about our professional exams: conceptual understanding is often punished if you don't use the exact ICAI jargon.

During my prep, I bought multiple test series from big academies. I would write logically sound, conceptually accurate answers for subjects like Audit or Law, only to get miserable marks. The evaluators were literally just playing "keyword bingo" with the suggested answers. If the exact word wasn't there, zero marks.

It creates a system where aspirants are forced to blindly memorize rather than actually understand the law.

For the current CA students in this sub: is the evaluation system still this broken? Are you finding any mock exam platforms that actually reward conceptual clarity and give logical step-marking, or is everyone still just cramming keywords to pass?
