~10 turns, still no split? How many turns before you split?

Hi! I'm 25F, 4 tads, nothing attached to my teeth, and had a piezo cut. My ortho currently has me turning once every 3 days due to concerns about my bone being very thin. However, I'm about 10 turns in and still haven't split yet. Is this normal? Should I be concerned? How many turns did it take for you guys?
