The Only Thing That Matters
I don’t wonder anymore.
Not about Heaven.
Not about what gets you there.
I know.
Not because I read it somewhere,
not because someone told me
but because I saw enough
to stop asking the question.
People complicate it.
They chase rules,
rituals,
status,
some perfect version of themselves
that doesn’t even exist yet.
But it isn’t complicated.
It’s just… hard.
Love.
Not the soft kind people talk about
when it costs them nothing.
The real kind.
The kind that asks something from you.
The kind that takes.
Because love, real love,
isn’t proven when it’s easy.
It’s proven when it costs you something
and you do it anyway.
Patience when you’re already tired.
Kindness when you’d rather snap.
Showing up when you’d rather disappear.
Holding back when you want to hurt back.
That’s it.
That’s the whole thing.
And the truth is
I know this.
I don’t question it.
I don’t search for answers.
I already have it.
I just don’t always live it.
