Grad programs or entry level jobs
Hello all,
Have been applying for heaps of grad programs in the accounting / finance field.
I come from a trade background and will be completing my degree soon.
After applying for many grad programs, I have begun to wonder if I am even going to land one. The process seems very non human just speaking to a camera and doing odd psychometric tests. What portion of grads do you think join these programs compared to finding entry level jobs.
I am now pivoting to maybe looking for entry level / non grad program jobs as I think the recruitment process may be more suitable for me. For some odd reason I thought grad programs were the way to go. I am losing motivation and the more I look at these programs the less I wanna do them. So many damn hoops to jump through I feel like im in some dystopian world where AI judges if I am good enough to work here.
Maybe it's just cos I have a trade background. Most places have humans that check your resume and give you a ring etc. Maybe you get an interview and just vibe / qualifications check and they pick who they like the best.
What's everyone's thoughts? Should I hope for a grad program or try apply for every level positions?
