Lords of the fallen help please

I'm playing with my friend in a shared progression playthrough. He is the host. I was level 82. I just clicked on the Chrysalis Rebirth to see what it did, I didnt want to reset my character. My character got reset to level 10, but didnt give me any vigor to level back up. I instantly closed the game in the hope it didn't save, but my closest save to level 82 is 40.

Is it ruined?
