**72 Players, 5 matches, 5 days:**

Dijon FCO vs SC Aubagne Air Bel
FC Villefranche-Beaujolais vs Le Puy Foot 43 Auvergne
FC Sochaux-Montbéliard vs Quevilly - Rouen Métropole

Over the past week scouting the French Championnat National, I saw a pretty physical league where games are often tough and contested with a lot of intensity. Wing-backs are very active, constantly pushing up and providing width. The good news is that there are plenty of players under 26 worth looking at, still developing their game in a competitive environment.

**#7 Florent Sanchez (23) | Attacking Midfield / US Orleans**
Sanchez didn’t have a great game, but you can see he wants to play in the mold of Kevin De Bruyne. Attempting many high-risk passes, key passes, and final-third entries, which results in a low overall passing percentage. He currently leads the Championnat National in assists. With his contract ending in June of this year, he should at least be given a stint in Ligue 2.

**#24 Mathis Touho (21) | Left Wing / FC Villefranche**
Touho is a dribbling machine. While he wasn’t particularly crisp or accurate in this specific match, you can see how his teammates consistently give him the ball and wait for him to do his thing. His stats are impressive for a 21-year-old with limited pitch time. He possesses pace, agility, and determination. He should be back in Ligue 2 or maybe even higher.

More notes on the rest of the players are available on [my blog](https://greenhousefootball.wordpress.com/project/april-2026/france-3rd/). Do you guys follow the French 3rd tier? Have any player's worth checking from that league?

This week, I'm video scouting the Australian A-League (1st tier)!
