hi, A. i know it has been so long since i last talked to you—ngayon pa talaga, when i won’t be able to do that in person or even through messages anymore. i regret not reaching out more often. i know we drifted apart because of life, pero hindi naman kita nakalimutan.

thank you for all the snacks we shared during recess, for all the laughter, and for being one of my greatest supporters back in high school. i’ll carry the friendship we had with me forever.

i can’t wait to go home to our hometown and read again all the handwritten letters you gave me. i'll hold on to those memories tightly.
