Carlink / Apple Carplay?

After 6-8 weeks, I’m really frustrated with not having carplay for many reasons. Yes, I have the Apple Music, which is hit or miss since it’s dependent on cell signal. Where I can play downloaded music on my phone regardless. Lots of features of apple music app (like create a station from this song) that I like to use.

I hate that I can’t just tap an address in a text/email and navigate there. I think I tried the “send address” thing in the gmc app but it was clunky and slow. If there’s a native way to do it in google maps, please LMK.

Siri capabilities, text message interface, podcasts, other apps.

I know folks will say “I don’t even miss it”, but I think that’s trying to justify GM’s choice to exclude it on a 90k truck. It’s a stupid cash grab, trying to lock you into their ecosystem/onstar. Yes, Apple does it too - but, theirs doesn’t suck.
