Do Rescued Service Members Feel Guilt After High-Risk Recoveries?

I know there’s a strong “no man left behind” philosophy in the military, and that forces will go to great lengths to rescue someone in trouble even at the risk of additional casualties.

But how does that affect the mindset of the person being rescued? In this case, the airman do they feel guilt knowing that others risked their lives and significant resources to save them?

Also, if it turns out the situation was caused by negligence, are there consequences for that?
