Just found out i have wavy/ curly hair Looking for advice.

Hey all i need advice on wavy hair as i just found out my hair is wavy/ curly I thought it was straight for my entire life so I've been treating and washing as if it were straight but nope due to length, thickness and gravity made it look straight. Apparently i could have 2b waves/curls (I'm not entirely sure on the correct definition sorry) so any good tips or techniques because I have absolutely no idea how to take care of waves/curls especially with the length it's at or even if it's possible to encourage the waves/curls I'm 5ft and the ends reach my tailbone.
