24M advice on starting in the dating scene

24M It's hard out here to even get someone to talk to you. My hinge, fb dating, kinky people meet, fetlife and tiktok are drier then a desert. What's an average looking confident guy got to do around upstate NY to get noticed. like I go out with friends to Saratoga, I'm active on my dating apps DM 3 girls a day when I'm really only looking for one. I don't just DM hi I put some thought into it I respond to prompts. I take care of myself I have a separate shampoo and conditioner, I smell good. I use cologne, I'm I missing the fact I'm just ugly I don't think I am. I DM girls that are in my league I think.

My questions are how to get noticed, are there better dating websites or apps I'm not using, is it this hard for everyone in the area men included, am I doing something wrong and am I just cooked?
