Kyoto mother's day ideas

My wife, 7 months old child, and I are visiting Japan from Canada and will be in Kyoto on Mother's Day. This is our first child and my wife's first mother's day as a mother, so I'd like to organize something special if possible. Any interesting mother's day ideas? Perhaps something that is quite uniquely Japanese? Something memorable.

I asked chatgpt but it mostly suggested generic non-mothers day specific ideas like Arashiyama Bamboo Park walk. And maybe that's the best I can do...but just thought I'd come here to see if anyone has cool ideas! Thanks in advance!
