Bowser Vs. Eggman (S): Just more or less perfect in my opinion, not much more to say

Shigaraki Vs. Mahito (S): Just slightly below Bowsegg because it isn't quite as debatable and does not have the same "Oomf"-factor it does. Beyond at it's a near flawless episode with imo the best analysis ever (Shigaraki). As an MHA and JJK fan it is evident they really got both characters in both the analysis and the fight itself. And they utilize their abilites in creative ways. Also, Skin Deep slaps.

Dante Vs. Clive (S): Probably the most visually appealing fight of the independent era complete with a bucket load of abilities on display. Was not too familiar with either character prior to the DB but this is excellent.

Ghost Rider Vs. Spawn (A+): Debatable result aside, the only complaint I have about this episode is that not too many of Spawns various abilities are used in the fight aside from Time Stop (though he has so many). The track slaps, the banter slaps, it's a banger.

Simon Vs. Kyle (A+): Great all around, my main complaint as someone who was not familiar with either character prior the DB is that the fight feels a little to Simon-centric. Excellent otherwise.

Ruby Vs. Maka (A+): An evident passion project with great choreography, not much more to say about that.

Ash Vs. Yugi (A+): Gives both combatants their due and has their enourmous arsenals on display, thoroughly enjoyable.

Cell Vs. Metal Sonic (A+): You can tell DA went all out on this. Plus despite losing, Cell gets a bunch of cool aura moments.

Among Us Vs. Fall Guys (A): One of the most fun DB's ever for sure, only slightly hurt by the lack of banter potential imo. Puts both characters games and abilities on display.

Spiderman Vs. Deku (A): Good all around, super smooth and pleasing animation. Nothing too bold but great.

Hulk Vs. Godzilla (A): Ambitious if a bit too Hulk centric imo but great with excellent analysis.

Blade Vs. Buffy (A): Best Ismahawk fight with DJ Ben, great all around.

Ichigo Vs. Yusuke (A): A solid fight that hits all the right notes and Soul Outsider slaps.

Joker Vs Giorno (A-): A great if in retrospect unremarkable episode. Amusing it got the muted reception people expected Omnidock to get and Omnidock got the real discourse.

Wile Vs. Tom (A-): I love this episode and fight in particular but will aknowledge that it is not as creative or bonkers as it could have been considering the arsenals of the characters involved. Fourth wall break was the funniest shit though.

Bakugo Vs. Reza (A-): Alright, might catch some flack and maybe it's recency bias and MHA fanboy talking but this episode hits most of the notes I wanted and expected it to. It had good moments and characterisation and the soundtrack slaps. Most importantly, it lived up to my expectation of the acrobatic missiles going at it. All that said I do believe its short length hurts it. I usually think the "It's too short" complaint gets thrown around too freely but ultimately it feels like the fight is JUST getting going by the time it reaches their final clash in the sky. And frankly, I feel some of the straight vitrol towards this matchup and the fact it was made is silly. Death Battle is a fun internet show with creators that want to do something fun, there is no reason to be malicious about it as the creators are not.

Omniman Vs. Bardock (B): Solid animation and voicework notably undermined by a contentious verdict with a less than satisfactory reasoning given in the episode. Ultimately a solid episode however.

Masterchief Vs. Doomslayer (B-): Even as a Doom fan I'll concede that this battle is a little too Slayer-centric and the death is a little overblown (although it might be in reference to earlier brutal deaths in DB back in the day). That said, I think the hate some people give this episode is silly. The people voted for it, so it's dumb to whine at Death Battle for making it.

Kratos Vs. Asura (C+): Not the spawn of satan, not great either. A little too long for how uneventful the fight actually as and Kratos no-selling all of Asuras attacks makes a bit boring. Add in the characterisation of Asura and the weird Kratos scaling and it adds up to a contentious episode. Upon rewatches it is not horrible, but it is not the episode I routinely go back to watch again.
