Clearing my mind with a paint by number kit. What next?

I'm a night shift nurse (54 year old, a few more years to retirement) in NY city and I was looking for ways to decompress on my days off, cause my days on are pretty intense… My psychotherapist recommended paint by numbers, and I bought myself 2 kits from Number Artist (there’s a bunch of brands online, but these were pretty affordable and visually caught my eye). I did it once so far and it’s very calming, there is something about the structure of it, knowing exactly what goes where, it soothes me after shifts where there’s no plan and you have to be ready to react.

I wanted to know your experiences with this, do you also find it calming? I'm open to kit recommendations that are more meditative, like landscapes, water, that kind of thing rather than busy portrait scenes. And I'd also like to know more about other painting techniques for a beginner, what should I try after paint by numbers? Thank you.
