Target Omni using a firestick

Im trying to setup use the Omni through my firestick and google Tv but am having a issues with connectivity.

I am able to connect to the Omni through web browsers on both but the connectivity does not last. As there is no app for either device it can’t connect to the Omni locally. I have been able to stream from my phone to an Apple TV device but I’d rather have it on the device itself.

Has anyone got it working through a firestick or google tv? Are there any alternatives which do work, such as having it on an Xbox or other streaming stick?
