Earth 2: All About Eve

Written by Robert Crais.

Directed by John Harrison.

Although the antepenultimate episode that came out in the series original broadcast, All About Eve is the finale in the series' narrative and unfortunately it ends on a cliffhanger.

The colonists are becoming sick from an unknown illness.

In the midst of all this Morgan goes on the VR when all of a sudden a man who directs the colonists to an old Earth ship.

On this ship it has occupants in cold sleep and among them is the said man in the VR.

This man and a woman are revived from this sleep and revealed the cause of this sickness and a warning they cannot live on this planet.

To add to this Reilly the adversary from earlier in the series is revealed to be a computer program much to everyone's shock.

Incidentally the Eve in the title is a computer program who also turns out to be Reilly.

The colonists are ultimately cures of this sickness but unfortunately Devon suddenly falls ill and therefore is placed in cold sleep hence the cliffhanger leaving viewers to never know whether she survive from this.

An intriguing premise which unfortunately ends with that cliffhanger.
