Another lyric-less jam from the self-titled album, Hispanic Impressions get a reputation for being a bit of a divisive song. It is speculated that this is Josh's version of Manic Depression by Jimi Hendrix, which would check out given the title and instrumentals. Personally, I think it really fits the desert rock vibe set by the album and it's a good set up to the track that follows, but there are some folks that would prefer to give this track a hard pass. Are you someone who jams to this or do you prefer to listen to others? This track was more or less a regular in their early years, picking up 28 plays in 98. It quickly began fading away as more albums were released though, only getting 1 play in 01 and completely disappearing from any setlist in 02 and on. It was a regular during their 2011 re-release self-titled tour and getting a record 48 plays during that year. It has not appeared again since that tour however, and it seems highly unlikely to creep back into a setlist in the future.
