Tips for writing better music prompts in LoopMaker what actually works
After experimenting a lot, here's what I've found makes a huge difference in output quality:
Be specific about mood, not just genre
Instead of: "jazz music"
Try: "late-night jazz trio, smoky bar, slow trumpet melody, brushed drums, melancholic tone"
Include BPM or energy level
Words like "slow", "driving", "frenetic", "relaxed" help ACE-Step 1.5 lock in the right feel.
Reference a setting or scene
"Coffee shop morning", "midnight drive on empty freeway", "summer festival crowd" — scene descriptions push the output in creative directions fast.
Combine unlikely genres
Some of the best results come from mashups: "cinematic orchestral with trap hi-hats" or "acoustic folk with ambient synth pads".
