Needle size

Type 2

Pardon if this question seems obvious or dumb in any way.

I've been diagnosed type 2 for around 5 years now. I take a small (12 units) injection of Lantus nightly. I don't question it. it's been clockwork. Exactly as the doctor prescribed. I've been using the same 31G x 8mm needles as I always use. And, they're okay. Sometimes I get one that's a little painful, I guess.

I recently got put on Ozempic. It comes with tiny little 32G x 4mm needles. I like these. They just seem so much easier.

Would I be able to start getting boxes of these 32G x 4mm for my Lantus? Or are the longer ones preferred?
