I’ve dated a idol this is my experience

actually ended up dating a idol I won’t give out info about them but all you have to know is that they were from a not so popular group, it was 2019 at that time I was living in Gangnam studying in a private university, back then I used to go out a lot to clubs not so much anymore but at one of those clubs is were I met this “idol” he had a booth with some people who I’m assuming were his friends and so me and some friends at that time got invited into their booth why one of the guys there and that’s were I met the “idol” we had drinks chatted just a normal interaction at the time I didn’t really know him or knew what he did but at the end we exchanged contacts and that was it honestly after the whole club interaction I neither of us texted until finally I did.

We chatted for a bit talked about random stuff and actually had a lot in common we met up a couple of times mostly late hours always somewhere private it kept going on like this until I asked him what he did and that’s when he told me he worked in the entertainment industry I didn’t really understand at the time the rules that idols had to follow when it came to “dating” anyway at the end of 2019 was when we actually started dating and I would say the experience was normal we hung out went on dates mostly at night but at the end of 2020 we broke up due to COVID and everything going we both felt like it was the right thing to do since we weren’t hanging out like before or you know did stuff as much as we did before Covid and also 2020 was when his group started to get a bit popular the did end up disbanding in 2023 overall I just wanted to share my experience with dating someone working in the entertainment industry it’s not what people expect really it’s just you dating a popular person and not being able to hang out due to their schedules
