No audio all of a sudden i. stalker 2

so yeah as the topic states, my audio goes out all of a sudden during the intro. beat the game about 2 months after release, reinstalled to check out the new content and started a new game. audio always cuts out when the truck crashes and skif wakes up.

is this or has this happened to anyone and is there a fix?

I played with mods in the past but this is a fresh install, no mods, new game save file, reinstalled.

ive deleted everything stalker 2 related in my steam folders, verified integrity, done multiple fresh installs and no luck in solving the issue. dont see any changes to my audio settings either.
