Joining GS BLR in 2 weeks — looking for accommodation advice (PGs/flats/areas)

Hey everyone,

I’ll be joining GS in about 2 weeks and will be relocating soon to Bengaluru. I’m currently looking for accommodation and would really appreciate any suggestions or guidance from folks here.

A few things I’m trying to figure out:

• Good areas to stay (close to office / reasonable commute)
• PGs or hostels (both single and double sharing options)
• Flats or flat-sharing options
• Typical rent ranges in those areas
• Any recommended brokers / apps / websites to use (or avoid)

Also, it would be great to know where most GS employees usually stay and how they commute.
