Is Vaseline Lotion Good for Daily Skin Care or Just Basic Use?

Last Thursday I was at home when my mother handed me a bottle of Vaseline lotion during winter. She said it works well for dry skin. I started thinking if it is really good for daily skincare or just a basic option people use out of habit.

Using it made me think about how simple products sometimes work better than expensive ones. At the same time I wondered if it provides enough benefits for long term use.

Later I checked online for more details. While scrolling many online marketplaces including alibaba I saw different types of Vaseline lotions with various features and price ranges. Some looked very effective while others seemed standard.

Now I am thinking if Vaseline lotion is truly enough for daily skincare or if better options exist. Has anyone used it long term and found it effective?
