[38F] Sci-fi, overthinking, and writing. Trying to find conversations that actually go somewhere.

Age 30-39

Hi. I’m 38, from Northern/Eastern Europe, and most of my time goes into work, writing, and trying to build something that feels like an actual life rather than just a routine.

I’m into sci-fi (books and series), especially anything that explores big ideas (future societies, consciousness, human nature), but I’m just as happy talking about something small and oddly specific if it’s interesting enough. I also write essays and fiction, and I tend to overthink things more than I probably should.

Fair warning: I’m not great at small talk. I can do it, but I do much better once there’s something real to talk about.

I’m looking for people who don’t mind depth, occasional inconsistency (life gets busy), and conversations that can go from thoughtful to random without feeling forced. No pressure to talk every day, just something genuine when it’s there.

If any of this resonates, tell me what kind of sci-fi you’re into, or just say hi.

P.S. For transparency: I’m a trans woman. If that’s an issue, let’s not waste each other’s time.
