Advise needed :) OM 5 Mark 2 - Tripod Mount

Hi, I need your help again – I’m new to this and don’t want to make any costly mistakes :) !

I’d like to buy a tripod, but I’ve seen/read that the tripod mount on the OM-5 Mark II isn’t supposed to be very good or stable – this is a bit controversial because it’s used for the Peak Design clip, which is actually a misuse of the mount, but never mind – I just want to treat the tripod mount with care.

Do you have any recommendations for an L-bracket or base plate, or any other solution you use for tripods? And perhaps also which tripod is great for macro photography?

I’d be really grateful for any recommendations, as I’m feeling overwhelmed by the online search and can’t find many honest reviews.
