Documentary Project - NEED AN ENTHUSIAST

Hi everyone,

My name’s Sivan and I’m a filmmaker who is working on a documentary for a Youtube channel called “Art of Mastery.” Their mission is to preserve the stories of craftspeople / masters who are keeping tradition and skills alive. After working on a documentary involving a potter, I then pitched the concept of following a car enthusiast as they restore their classic car into the modern age.

That’s where I need one of you.

The documentary will revolve around one central enthusiast and their personal story in restoring the car. Other car lovers will be brought in for snippets from a cars and coffee type meet, along with hopefully a classic car track day at Brands Hatch being filmed. The car itself can be from the 50s all the way to the 90s. We’re looking for someone who’s preferably halfway or near the end of the process, with a drivable vehicle being very helpful. Filming itself would take 2-3 days, not consecutive, involving a sit-down interview, shots of the car, filming whilst driving hopefully and importantly filming during sections of the restoration.

This project is UK BASED so please only reach out if you’re based in the UK, preferably in London or within an hour and a half from London.

Whilst featuring will be unpaid, we will be covering all petrol used during the production. No redlining without compensation with these fuel prices.

I’ll be reaching out to a range of forums, subreddits and such looking for anyone who’s interested. If you are interested, could you please do the following:

DM me with 1. A short description of yourself. 2. Your Car. 3. A picture of the car. 4. Why you’re deciding to restore it.

If you know anyone who would be interested in this instead, please forward them this post and encourage them to reach out!

I’ll leave below a link to the Art of mastery Youtube channel and my previous documentary with them.
