Wendy allegations how does it make sense

Hi everyone, I know the news about the charges for Wendy have been out for a while but I was waiting to watch the latest season of RHOP before looking into it more.

I just don’t understand. Wendy is an extremely intelligent woman with multiple accolades, including a doctorate as far as I’m aware I think her sister is also a medical doctor? Her husband is a successful lawyer. I just don’t understand how you would risk your reputation when there’s so many eyes and cameras on you to commit insurance fraud? Surely, there was another way to borrow the money she needed if she did need money at the time.

I know it’s innocent until proven guilty but the charges seem pretty serious and legit. It seems like all the housewives are obsessed with flashing their money but Wendy stands out as a housewife who worked hard to get to where she was, and not some sketchy scam artist like housewives and thief husbands who have come and gone.
