I built an AI tool to translate NDAs into plain English. It uses true Zero-Knowledge encryption (AES-256-GCM in-browser) so the server never sees your plaintext. Looking for beta testers!
Hey everyone,
I was sick of either paying a lawyer just to read standard boilerplate NDAs or blindly signing them and risking a hidden non-compete. So, I built SimpleNDA.
You drop your PDF into it, and the AI streams the output. It scores the contract against a proprietary "NDA-10 Framework™" to check 10 standard components, scans for 7 red flag patterns, and highlights whether obligations are mutual or one-sided.
Because it's legal tech, I made sure privacy is paranoid-level:
- Documents are encrypted with AES-256-GCM in your browser before they leave your device.
- The encryption key is derived from your Firebase UID via PBKDF2 (100,000 iterations), so there is no master password and no unencrypted data at rest.
- It uses Zero-retention AI—your data is purged after analysis.
I'm running a closed, invite-only beta right now to test the parsing engine (I built a custom multi-stage pipeline to handle LLM markdown/formatting quirks).
The app has a built-in Stripe payment system (normally $9.99 per scan via a $20 top-up), but since it's in test mode, you get to use fake credit cards to test it for free.
If you sign NDAs and want to try it out, drop a comment or DM me and I’ll send you an invite link and the test card details!
